A typical machine can be 30 metres long, weigh 10’s of tons and have 1000’s of moving parts ranging from rollers, electric motors and PLC driven hydraulic pistons. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Mechanical Fitter will be responsible for the general fitting and assembly of the machines in an accurate and efficient manner. Hydraulic knowledge and experience will be essential for the role whilst the ability to weld and perform general machining will be a bonus.

HAVE YOU GOT THE SKILLS?
We immediately want to talk to individuals with:
- A trade Engineering qualification
- Relevant experience in mechanical engineering
- Some experience on general welding and machining
- Knowledge ability to work with hydraulics
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Hands-on and willing to get work done
- High standards for quality and accuracy
