THE COMPANY
This kiwi-owned sub-contractor is changing the way we build in New Zealand! Based halfway between Hamilton and Auckland they are flat tack and already have branched out into Christchurch. Our shaky nation is unique and the founders of this business have developed a cost-effective alternative to traditional building foundations. Using timber poles, this system is fast becoming the chosen the design for TC2 and TC3 plots, ensuring buildings are safe and durable for generations.

THE POSITION
As a Project Manager you are the spokesperson for the business. You will work directly with the Director to engage with new clients and consult them on how your foundation system can add value to their build. You will liaise with Engineers to analyse geo-tech reports to create plans and consult clients on the estimated costs and build times. Once the contract is signed you will ensure you live up to your promises, delivering a quality service and product on time and budget. 

 “don’t through away your boots”

Get on-site and oversee all works completed, even get your hammer out occasionally to set profiles and check the build reflects the plans.

REQUIREMENTS
We are looking for a robust individual with initiative and integrity. You must be comfortable facing clients, developing new business, have a strong financial acumen, and capable of running multiple jobs at any given time. 

This position is well suited to an experienced builder who has a strong customer focus and is proven to be well organised and professional. You will also need a deep understanding of the New Zealand building code and seismic standards. 

A strong focus on Health and Safety is highly important.

Successful applicants can expect a salary up to 6 fix figures and a company vehicle. You will have the authority to make your own decision whilst actively contributing to top-level decision making.
