QC Manager

Our client is a well-established pharmaceutical company with a strong reputation as a high quality manufacturer of registered products and as an excellent employer.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing a QC team responsible for the quality testing of pharmaceutical products including raw materials, finished products and stability testing. The job holder will be responsible for the training, development, co-ordination and direction of the department, whilst ensuring cGMP and safety regulations are met. This is undoubtedly a key role within the organisation and is an excellent opportunity to grow your career within Quality.
To be suitable for this position you will need the following experience:
  • Tertiary qualification in Chemistry or Pharmacy
  • Experienced in testing API, intermediates and final pharmaceutical products
  • Proven hands-on experience in bench-top chemistry and HPLC/GC etc
  • Laboratory Leadership or Management Experience
  • Strong knowledge of NZ and international pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (GMP)
  • Proven track record of developing staff
  • Project management experience
  • Excellent attitude –teamwork, team fit and a high level of drive and enthusiasm will be essential to be successful
