Structural Drafter

The Company  
This Christchurch based consultancy is reasonably newly formed, although they already have strong client relationships. Their reputation is for innovative, well considered, and aesthetically pleasing structures. Consequently, they have many interesting projects on the go. To help drive the design and drafting for these projects, they are keen to recruit another Structural Draftsperson to join their team. The team are from a diverse background, and are experienced and insightful consultants that produce quality work.  

The Role
You will work on a variety of projects from residential to large, multi-million-dollar projects, carrying out structural drafting in conjunction with the Structural Engineers.
As an experienced Structural Drafter, you know what’s involved!

The Person

We’re looking for a person who is:

  • Qualified to NZCE / Diploma level
  • Has at least 5 years Structural Drafting experience
  • Able to use AutoCAD and Revit
  • Able to work on their own, taking ownership of a project
  • Details focused and methodical in approach
  • Holds a full and clean New Zealand driver’s license

Whilst our ideal is an ‘intermediate’ level Drafter, less experienced candidate will be considered, but regretfully, we cannot consider graduates.
