Supply Chain Manager

Our client is a leading building materials manufacturer, who is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Penrose, Auckland. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Supply Chain Manager, or someone who is looking to step up from a Warehouse & Inventory Manager role, who is looking for some career progression.

This position will have an operational focus across NZ Manufacturing, as you work closely with the Warehouse Manager and logistics teams to optimize processes, work with staff and be a hands-on leader of people. Aligned with this is going to be the implementation of Supply Chain strategy across New Zealand. This is something that can see vast improvement and with the assistance of the APAC Supply Chain Manager, this will be a key focus for the role.

To be suitable you will need the following experience:

  • Tertiary Qualified
  • Experienced as a Supply Chain Manager, Warehouse & Logistics Manager or similar
  • Manufacturing experience is essential, heavy industry would be preferable not essential
  • Performance driven, improvement focussed
  • Proven ability to focus on national improvement projects across supply chain
  • Smart and genuine
