Associate Director – Cost Management

Working on complex projects and managing high profile government and private “blue chip” clients you will play a key role in technical delivery, business strategy and team leadership.

The Job

This role will see you getting out of the office and engaging and meeting clients and key stakeholders. 

As part of a close knit team you will remain hands on with technical delivery across cost planning, cost control & reporting, procurement, risk management, and managing complex claims.

You will mentor and support a small team of Quantity Surveyors, and work with the Director on business planning and team development. 

The Requirements

We are seeking an Associate Director or a Senior Quantity Surveyor with PQS / Consultancy based experience.

You will bring sound cost planning / estimating experience on building construction projects, with good knowledge of procurement, risk management and claims management.

It is critical you have proven client relationship and communication skills, and can bring the drive and ambition to progress in the role.

MRICS or NZIQS qualification is preferred

Experience in team management, training and business leadership is highly desirable.
