Electrical Assemble and Service Technician

Calling for any hands-on tradesman who has electrical aptitude! Our client, who specialise in medium to large sized traffic equipment, is looking for for an Electrical Technician to assemble and service their wide range of equipment. 

About half of the work will be based around assembling the imported parts into new products and the other half will involve installation and servicing, so you will get to do a mixture of different things throughout the day/ week. 

We are looking for a hands-on person who enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together as opposed to the design/ theoretical type. Ability to use hand tools and power tools is a must. 

In terms of electrical skills, you must hold a current EAS or EST and have worked up to 24v. There will be little to no live current involved. Ideally you will have worked on LED lights, solar panels, electric motors, motion senors, circuit boards, simple wiring, etc. 

Because there are times you will be out on site, you must have excellent spoken English and customer service skills. In return, you will be provided a vehicle for personal use.
