About the role
Reporting to the GMP Production Manager, this role will lead and oversee all operational aspects of the company’s GMP manufacturing team running 3 shift operations. The position oversees multiple production lines and are responsible for managing 2 team leaders and up to 45 indirect reports.
  
Duties/responsibilities

  • Ensure all operations in these departments meet production plan and quality standards
  • Review and process documentation in a timely fashion
  • Provide leadership, support and mentoring for staff within each team
  • Help drive the company’s LEAN and CI initiatives
  • Maintain health and safety, training and productivity standards for the business.

  
Skills/experience

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in a GMP environment
  • At least 8 years production experience in a GMP/pharmaceutical plant
  • Great organisational and communication skills
  • Responsible with Health and Safety, and Quality standards
  • Good production planning and manufacturing experience
