About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician to work hands-on supporting the production of specialised biological products. 

Reporting to the Manager of Operations, you will be responsible for the end-to-end manufacturing and packaging process, ensuring all activities are completed in line with strict regulatory and quality standards. You will work across multiple stages of production, from raw material handling through to final product packaging, while supporting broader operational and R&D activities as needed.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Raw material checking, sorting and pre-processing activities
  • Processing, monitoring and in-process inspections
  • Package finished products
  • Maintain cleanroom environments through GMP-compliant cleaning procedures
  • Accurately complete production records
  • Support cross-functional teams across operations and R&D


About you
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy and quality. As you’ll be joining a small team, a good attitude and the ability to get on with people is key.

In addition, the suitable candidate will have the following –

  • At least 2 years’ experience in a cleanroom, sterile, or aseptic manufacturing environment
  • Experience working within GMP, ISO 13485, or similar regulated frameworks
  • A relevant qualification in Science, Engineering, Laboratory, Food Safety, or a related field is advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures precisely
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills, with confidence completing documentation to a high standard
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment
  • Clear communicator who works well within a team
  • Adaptable, reliable, and open to learning and new ways of working
  • Full NZ working rights
