We’re on the hunt for a fully registered Industrial Electrician with experience maintaining/repairing highly automated FMCG machinery in a great rural location. Our client is a household name and has grown considerably to operate multiple food processing sites across NZ.
Keep production running
This in-house maintenance role is on the afternoon shift (2:15pm to 10:45pm), Monday to Friday for a total of 40 hours with occasional overtime which is compensated at a premium rate. On the job, you’ll be doing a mix of ongoing preventative and planned maintenance on PLC’s, VSD’s and drives/motors on a range of single and 3 phase machinery. Being a 24/7 operation, there will be inevitable breakdowns, requiring you to jump to arms and work with the wider maintenance team to come up with a practical and timely solution. With growth plans, there will also be opportunities to get hands with new projects and machinery.

For this fast pace role, we need a reliable and skilled Electrician who has worked in a manufacturing or FMCG setting. To be eligible for this position, must tick the following boxes:
- Current and full EWRB registration
- Experience with PLC Fault-finding, VSDs and SCADA/HMI systems
- Preventative approach and competent PC/CMMS user
- Manage priorities and work autonomously
- Strong communication, written and verbal
- A high degree of mechanical aptitude
- A keen eye for continuous improvement and passion for performance
- Health and safety leadership
