Maintenance Technician

Our client is a large, international medical device manufacturer for the pharmaceutical industry. They are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join the team of engineers. The main purpose of the role is to perform preventative and reactive maintenance, as well as overhauling and install plant machinery and equipment.  

Previous experience in FMCG or working with injection moulding robots would be highly preferred, but we will equally consider applicants who have good hands-on experience working with highly automated machinery. This is an interesting role where you will get to work on a wide variety of interesting equipment. We are looking for a versatile technician who is keen to use their engineering aptitude and turn their hand to anything, including HVAC, air conditioning, electrical controls and automation, welding, machining and drafting, however, mechanical fault-finding should be your key skill.  

As our client is a GMP manufacturer, documentation of processes is a large component of this role. 

In summary, the requirements of the role are:

  • Mechanical fault-finding experience with automated equipment
  • Electrical, HVAC and utilities skills is a bonus
  • Welding and machining skills
  • Solidworks skills is highly preferred
  • Plastics and FMCG experience will be highly regarded
  • Good written English and documentation skills
