About the Company:
Our client is a significant player in the New Zealand and global beverage sectors and has made a name for themselves in the general beverage market as well as boutique beer brewing. They have a site in South Auckland and a great opportunity for a Materials and Maintenance Planner to join the business and advance their career.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Reliability Manager, you will be responsible for the development, planning and scheduling of all planned maintenance activities as well as the delivery strategic maintenance projects within the defined safety, cost, schedule and quality criteria. You’ll play an important role as a senior member of the team and will help drive improvement and manage contract service providers.
This is a Monday-Friday dayshift role.

You, the Candidate:
In a role where you will be the link between the maintenance team and other site functions, you will need to bring your communication and interpersonal skills with you and have the confidence to speak with people across the hierarchy. This role will suit candidates that enjoy maintenance planning and have an interest in developing within a successful business.

To be considered for this role, you should have most or all of the following:

  • Relevant degree, NZCE or Trade Certificate
  • Extensive maintenance/ production experience
  • Experience with Maintenance Planning including the coordination of resources / materials planning
  • Experienced with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Understanding of stock inventory and how that relates to planning
  • Experience supporting loss and waste improvement initiatives
  • MPI accreditation is highly advantageous
  • Have an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Hold a valid NZ work visa
