The Role & Team
Reporting to a down to earth and friendly Design Manager, you will join a Mechanical & Electrical Design team involved in engineering design of new heavy mechanical products and making upgrades to existing products.
Initially you will mainly be focused on maintenance and updates of current products as well as drafting under the guidance of the mechanical engineers.
So, for example, doing mark-ups, drawings, and models, checking and uploading BOMs, and making parts manuals too.
Does This Sound Like You?
- Mechanical Draftsperson with at least 3 years’ experience
- Proficient with SolidWorks for CAD drafting, PDM, and managing BOM’s
- Have an eye for detail and ability to QA check designs
- Can think laterally and be able to figure out the full impact of any drawing changes made
- Practical nous and a motivated attitude
- Have good communication skills
