The Opportunities:
We are seeking a capable Mechanical Project Engineer in Nelson.

Who for?
A well established and stable Industrial Engineering Company with multiple branches across New Zealand. This Company have plans to grow and are financially sound.

What do they do?
Custom engineering design, fabrication, installation, and maintenance work all around New Zealand.

The Projects you will work on range in size and scope. Typically small to medium size projects at the $500k to $3 million dollar range typically, and up to a $10 million max budget.

Project Sector Examples:
Broadly speaking you will be doing Industrial Projects.
Client Project Sectors could include Material Handling and Supply Chain & Logistics, Primary Industries, Commercial Builds, Marine, Quarry, Mining, Energy, Dairy, and Timber sectors.
So, you will get great project variety here!

Your Technical Background:
Having a Mechanical background would be ideal plus technical understanding of project engineering/management.

On the Job Training:
The Company is happy to hire and keep training people with at least 2 to 3 years of Project Engineering experience. Both Trade or Degree education backgrounds will be considered too.

Travel:
There is some travel associated with these jobs but not a lot. Think a couple of days away every 2 to 4 weeks.

The company have a good proportion of active people, so topics of conversation could include talk about Mountain biking and football for example.
