Production Manager

Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist architecural building products, with plants in Australia and New Zealand and a staff of over 1000. Busy and getting busier, we have been asked to help them find a new Production/Shift Manager for their Wellington operation, to help keep things running.

The job and person.
Let’s keep this short and sweet.

We want a tertiary qualified, experienced in Production Management and keen to take on a new challenge, to manage all aspects of production from order receipt to goods dispatch.
We need a person used to managing people and prepared to make the hard calls and someone with experience in guiding teams through change.
We need a person with at least 5 years in Production Management (as well as time in other positions), someone with a knowledge of TOC and lean manufacturing concepts and methodologies 
We need a Production Manager who can also oversee things like production planning, performance reports, even plant maintenance, so you will need to be a versatile and resilient manager, who can handle whatever is thrown at you.
