The Company: Our client is a well-established nutritional dairy manufacturer. They are internationally backed and run from their state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in the North Waikato.

This company is in an exciting phase, having recently taken on new clients and starting to develop a range of new product lines. They need to expand their team to keep up with the growth in the business, including looking to find experienced Production Operators to support their team.

The Role:
This position works on a highly automated production line within a nutritional dairy manufacturing plant from Monday – Thursday (12-hour shifts). You will be responsible for meeting production targets, clearing and cleaning lines prior to production, adhering to all H&S and compliance requirements, filling out relevant traceability documentation, assisting with routine and planned maintenance activities, taking product samples, operating a forklift to transfer raw materials and more.

Ultimately, the Production Operator is responsible for ensuring all processes run smoothly and on target in a collaborative team environment.

You, the Candidate:
Our client is looking for experienced production operators that come from a dairy or food processing environment. Milk powder processing and dispensary experience would be highly regarded. Experience with ERP systems and understanding of LEAN manufacturing techniques would also be highly beneficial.
