Production & Quality Support

The Company
Our client is a well-established Life Sciences company who supplies raw materials to pharmaceutical businesses across the globe. They are currently looking to appoint a Production & Quality Support within its Christchurch facility. With consistent growth of the business this role will support the Head of Operations and Quality across all general quality functions as well as production and operations.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of Operations and Quality, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of our client’s existing quality systems and supporting to quality team based in Auckland. As such you will also verify load in and out product, monitor QC results, perform internal and external audits, investigate non-conformances and customer complaints as well as manage resulting CAPAs. As you will be joining a small and cross-functional team you will also be involved with hands-on tasks in production and stocktaking.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a first experience in Quality Assurance or in production/operations within a highly regulated environment to develop as the company continues to grow.

You will also be a team player with developed communication and interpersonal skills and a strong eye for detail as you will work closely with colleagues across the company.

To be considered, you will ideally possess the following attributes:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in science/technology or similar
  • 1-2 years QA experience within a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food or similar industry
  • cGMP and Quality Systems experience preferred
  • Aseptic processing experience ideal
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Initiative and the ability to work unsupervised
  • Deliver results within tight deadlines
  • Ability to occasionally travel to our client’s Auckland site and South Island based suppliers
