Production Room Blender

  • Work in a fast-paced food production environment, located in East Tamaki.
  • Full time, Monday to Thursday, rotating 10 hour shifts.

About the job:
A great opportunity for Production or Blending Operators with previous experience in the food manufacturing industry. We are looking for Production Room Blenders who love working in a fast-paced environment to join a team based in East Tamaki. Your tasks will include:

  • Operating Packing Room lines to a specified plan and against designated processes.
  • Setup, monitor, and clean machines including basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Record packaging material and remelting packed product.
  • Mixing ingredients into emulsions; making blends and feeding through plant to packaging machines.
  • Work to daily/weekly/monthly agreed production targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with packing machinery in a manufacturing and/or FMCG environment.
  • Previous blending experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Mechanical understanding combined with a keen eye for detail around safety and quality.
  • Being highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently.
  • Basic IT literacy.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift up to (25g) essential
