Production Technicians – Pharmaceutical Industry

  • Multi opportunities
  • Role suitable for graduates
  • Auckland, Wellington and other location

Technical Recruitment Solutions have been recruiting in New Zealand’s pharmaceutical manufacturing sector for almost 20 years. We’ve supported almost all of the companies around the country, from small and growing family businesses to large multinationals, finding eager and experienced professionals across production, QA, QC, validation, engineering, maintenance, R&D, Supply Chain & Logistics and even Health & Safety over that time.
The Pharmaceutical sector has evolved and continues to do so with new technologies like medicinal cannabis coming online as well as the continuation of the traditional ones.
Right now, we have several clients in Auckland and Wellington seeking Production Operators/Technicians to join their busy production teams.  With all these businesses working to GMP, we are seeking candidates with some level of background or understanding in this type of manufacturing environment.  However, training will be given and so we are interested in hearing from you if you have a tertiary science degree or some previous experience in GMP manufacturing, and wish to get into this type of career.
Most of our clients run some variation of normal working hours (between 6am and 7pm) Monday to Friday with some occasional requirement to work outside of these hours.  Some clients do run rotating shifts but I can talk you through these options.
So, if you are interested in working in this sector and any of these relate:

  • 2+ years GMP production experience
  • A science qualification and a keen interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Great attention to detail and the desire to working in a regulated environment

then one of these options may be right for you.
The pharmaceutical industry pays above average for manufacturing in New Zealand and focus highly on training to ensure the meet the compliance needed for them to operate.
