Sales & Export Coordinator

Our client is a leading locally owned manufacturer of FMCG products. Currently growing quickly in both the local and export markets, they are looking for a new Sales & Export Coordinator to join their team.
The job
Based in Wellington, this role will have you working in a small team dedicated to providing logistics and shipping support to the operation.
Specifically, you will be:

  • Manage shipping logistics by ensuring containers are booked, arrive, are loaded, etc
  • Liaise with logistics providers to ensure orders are picked up and delivered on time
  • Respond to all export inquiries
  • Assist in checking pallets being packed against loading lists
  • Arranging delivery/pick-up documentation for export orders
  • Ensure data is entered correctly into the Dynamics AX, ERP system

And so on.
The person
Our new Sales & Export Specialist will:

  • Have excellent PC/IT skills
  • Experience in Shipping and Logistics, especially export
  • Be a details person, good with numbers
  • Be an excellent communicator
  • Have experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or similar ERP system
  • Have experience using ProDoc software
  • Preferably have experience in dealing with Customs clearances

Experience working in the food processing industry would be a bonus.
You will be a people person, able to form good working relationships at all levels and a person able to multi-task and look after the details.
