Technical Writer & Process Interpreter

Our client is a world leader in their niche design, manufacture, and service of products for the horticulture sector, well known in the industry throughout New Zealand and internationally. With plenty of work and continual growth, this is a newly created opportunity to join their team as a Technical Writer and Process Interpreter.

The Role
You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, reviewing, and recommending company processes and procedures.

Specifically, you will:

  • Work with internal and external subject matter experts to identify and capture the company processes and procedures.
  • Analyse and document the company processes and procedures (user guides, workflows, technical diagrams, manuals and SOPs).
  • Review processes and the associated documentation.
  • Recommend process changes for continuous improvements.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Sound technical capability (preferably with a technical qualification)
  • At least 5 years’ experience writing processes and procedures
  • Proven experience working with process improvements
  • Experience with infographics / schematic software
  • Be able to quickly establish rapport with a wide range of personalities

Personally, you will excel at written and verbal communication and will have a sound mix of technical and people skills.
