The person we would like to place in this role will be Wellington-based and have a good list of commercial projects under their belt and will also have strong networks of accessible subcontractors in the Wellington region.
You’ll need to be at a stage in your career where you can take a major, high-profile project from tenders through to handover, and in the process, be able to communicate effectively with all types of people, from Managing Directors through to suppliers and clients on the development side. We really just need a good, technically-sound QS who loves what they do. Get in touch if you’ve got the following:
- 10+ years in a NZ-based QS role
- Experience managing the financial side of projects worth $20M-$50M
- Strong relationships in place across the Wellington region
- Have no issues with the communication and liaison aspects of the role
- The desire to remain on board long-term and mentor junior QS’
