Service Engineer

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Service Engineer to take on a hands-on role supporting the installation, servicing, and improvement of advanced automated materials handling and refrigeration systems across Australia.

While this newly created role will be part of the Brisbane based team, you can be based out of anywhere in Australia!

Working with a global leader in food processing and packaging technology, you’ll be essential to delivering seamless service, conducting installations, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement.

The Role
You will:

  • Install & Maintain: Commission new equipment and perform planned/unplanned maintenance on bulk material handling and refrigeration systems
  • Troubleshoot & Repair: Resolve mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, minimizing downtime
  • Improve & Innovate: Identify opportunities for product enhancements and feedback to the team
  • Support Safety: Maintain the highest health and safety standards, ensuring compliance and a safe work environment
  • Travel: This role covers all of Australia so you must be okay with travelling for work

Ideal Experience

  • Qualifications: Mechanical Trades qualifications
  • Experience: Strong background in servicing and maintaining mechanical plant equipment, with skills in refrigeration or bulk material handling
  • Skills: Proven faultfinder with knowledge in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, organised, and a proactive problem solver with a high commitment to safety and customer satisfaction
