Maintenance Planner

We’re looking for a Maintenance Planner to join an industry leading building materials manufacturer, who have a highly automated production facility in Masterton, Wairarapa.

The focus of the position:
Planning of preventative maintenance schedules using computerised maintenance system (MEX)
Highly automated, PLC driven production – Isolate the plant, repair and improve faults
Reliability – Minimise production downtime due to breakdowns and faults
Engineering Inventory Management
Work with project teams on plant improvements
Process Improvement – Business focus on plant improvement and development. With budget available to achieve goals

About You:
Trade or degree qualified – Mechanical preferred. Electrical also considered
Manufacturing industry experience – ideally heavy industry
Multi-tasker. Someone who is happy to roll their sleeves up and help others
Maintenance planning – Must have experienced with CMMS – such as MEX, SAP, MAXIMO etc
Ability to lead teams and work well with others
Willingness to get stuck in and jump on the tools where required
