Senior Asset Manager

The Role
Reporting to the Asset Management Team Leader, this role is about applying technical expertise, data-driven decision-making, and forward thinking to ensure assets remain safe, reliable, and future-ready. You’ll be responsible for lifecycle planning, replacement and maintenance strategies, and risk-based decision-making.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement, and refine asset management plans across designated fleets
  • Monitor and analyse asset health, performance, and lifecycle expectations
  • Use data, modelling, and modern software to inform smarter decisions and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support the Service Delivery team with program execution and asset transitions
  • Contribute to contingency planning, asset disposal, and spares strategies

Ideal Experience
You’ll bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • Proven experience in asset management (within electricity distribution, utilities, or infrastructure)
  • Strong technical knowledge of asset lifecycle planning and risk management
  • Analytical strength – turning complex data into clear decisions
  • Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
