Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

Work from Home, On Site, or a Mix
This is an initial 6-month contract role with flexible working arrangements. You can work from the site office, from home, or a mix of both with weekly site visits. As the workload ramps up, your focus will be on managing the busy day-to-day QS tasks, wherever you work from.
The Role
- Manage contract administration across multiple trades, including variations, payment claims, and monthly reporting.
- Support estimating and tendering of new work as projects progress.
- Assist the business in improving commercial systems and processes.
The Ideal Candidate
- Quantity Surveying qualification.
- Several years’ experience as a QS in New Zealand.
- Strong knowledge of NZ contracts and construction methods.
- Proficient in Excel and Word; experience with Procore or CostX is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Down-to-earth, relaxed personality.
