YOUR NEW ROLE
Based in the Mangere workshop, you’ll join a friendly team that builds and assembles portable crushers, rock mills, and mobile labs specifically for the mining industry. Working alongside experienced Fitters and Engineers, you’ll gain hands-on experience fitting, aligning, and assembling complex mechanical systems from detailed drawings.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their mechanical career to develop their skills across fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision fitting while working on high-quality NZ-made equipment.

This Monday-to-Friday role offers “lifestyle-friendly” hours — early 6am starts and 2:30pm finishes — perfect for those who enjoy getting an early start and having their afternoons free.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
We’re looking for a mechanically minded person with a great attitude and a genuine interest in engineering. Whether you’re recently qualified or still building your experience, this is a great chance to learn from some of the best in the industry.
You’ll need:

  • Trade qualification or partial completion in Mechanical Engineering or Fitting (or similar)
  • Strong practical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn
  • A safety-conscious and proactive approach to work
