Loader Operator

The Opportunity: As a Loader, you’ll play a key part in keeping production lines running smoothly. You will be accurately loading ingredients and raw materials, supporting consistent, high-quality chocolate production. Tasks will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Precisely loading ingredients and raw materials according to recipe and schedule requirements
  • Following all site safety, food safety, and hygiene standards
  • Preparing, cleaning, and sanitising equipment before and after use 
  • Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues to your supervisor
  • Performing routine maintenance and inspection of loading equipment
  • Communicating clearly with you team to meet production deadlines 

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Some flexibility to adjust hours will be required from time to time to support leave cover and broader business needs. 

You, the Candidate: With a background working in food production environments, the ideal candidate will possess good knowledge of GMP standards, troubleshooting equipment, problem-solving, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and H&S. You will also bring the following skills and attributes: 

  • 1+ years experience in food manufacturing – ideally handling raw materials 
  • Strong attention to details and adherence to SOPs
  • Good time management and a proactive and reliable work ethic 
  • Ability to work well in a team environment 
  • Physically fit and comfortable in a busy production environment, including the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy loads 
  • Forklift license highly desirable but not essential
