Project Manager – Palmerston North or Wellington
Are you a Project Manager who enjoys being close to the detail, building strong relationships and seeing projects delivered properly from the ground up? If you value good planning, clear communication and a practical approach on site, this could be worth a look.
This opportunity is with a long-established, employee-owned Tier 2 design & build contractor with a strong presence across the lower North Island. They’ve been operating successfully for decades and have built a solid reputation delivering commercial, residential, community and education projects. Their approach is steady, professional and relationship-driven, with a real focus on early contractor involvement and setting projects up well from the outset.
They are currently looking for Project Managers to join their team in both Palmerston North and Wellington, working across a range of well-structured commercial projects.
The role
- Managing commercial projects from pre-construction through to completion
- Overseeing programme, budget, quality, safety and subcontractor coordination
- Working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams
- Contributing practical buildability input and supporting site delivery
What they’re looking for
You’ll already have a solid foundation in commercial construction project management and be confident running your own projects or key portions of larger builds. Experience in design & build or ECI would be beneficial, along with a proactive, down-to-earth approach and the ability to build strong working relationships.
What’s on offer
A competitive salary, a supportive and well-established team environment, and the opportunity to work on meaningful projects across both regional and city locations, with clear opportunity to continue developing your career.Interested?
