Branch Manager/Team Lead
We’re working with a national leading provider of scaffolding services, who are seeking a Branch Manager to oversee their Nelson team and drive business growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
The Role:
This role is varied whereby you will be involved with pricing, measuring, client engagement, logistics, leading site meetings, toolbox start ups and business development. At busy times there may be a need to jump on tools to assist with bottlenecks where required, but the main focus is to ensure the smooth operational running of your teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on a small, dedicated team and drive business growth in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing and coordinating scaffolding crews to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
- Leading site meetings and toolbox talks to promote safety and clear communication.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and problem-solving.
- Accurately measuring and quoting projects to secure new business.
- Contributing to business development efforts to expand our client base and market share.
- Overseeing all aspects of branch operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
We’re looking for someone with:
- A Strong Work Ethic: You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
- Tenacity and Drive: You’re committed to seeing projects through to completion and overcoming challenges along the way.
- Scaffolding Expertise: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on scaffolding experience is essential (for candidates stepping up from the tools).
- Leadership Potential: You have the ability to motivate, mentor, and guide a team to achieve common goals.
- Communication Skills: You can effectively communicate with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Relevant Qualifications: Ideally, you’ll hold an Advanced Scaffolding Ticket; an Intermediate Ticket will also be considered.
- A Hunger for Growth: You’re eager to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of our business.
