Electrical Design Engineer

The Company and Role
This company deliver large Plate Freezer and Chilling Tunnel projects.

Their clients are Meat and Cheese Manufacturers.

And a typical project value is around $6 million dollars.

4 projects of this size per year will be about what you can expect to do.

The company is continuing to grow in Australia and New Zealand. Over the years they have acquired other businesses which complement each other.

These freezing and chilling solutions are sought-after, so the work is stable. Plus, as projects are in Australia AND overseas, their client base is large.

For now, you can expect to work on one of 4 standard products for each project. But the company is looking at developing a new type of freezer to add to their range too.

The infeed and outfeed systems e.g., conveyors etc. will be different on each project. This is where a lot of the customization work is.

Each project includes design, manufacturing, product testing, installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.
