Engineering Technician

With company expansion and installation of exciting high-tech plant comes the need for an Engineering Technician to install, commission, and optimise high-speed FMCG manufacturing and packaging machinery.

Specifically, you will:

  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new, and upgrade of existing, FMCG plant and machinery
  • Ensure optimal operation of new and existing plant and machinery
  • Analyse plant performance and recommend improvements
  • Create and review SOPs and preventive maintenance plans
  • Assist with technical training and upskilling on plant operation and maintenance.

To join us in this role, you will have:

  • An engineering degree or trade cert qualification (mechanical or electrical).
  • Proven experience at a senior level installing, commissioning, and maintaining high-speed manufacturing machinery.
  • Experience working in FMCG sector in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Strong technical competency, diagnostics and problem-solving skills.

You will be a proven self-starter who has excellent communication and relationship skills.
