With significant forward workload they are now looking to strengthen their pre-construction team.

About the Role
As part of the front-end team, you’ll play a key role in early-stage cost planning and design, this includes:

  • Developing cost plans and estimates from early design or limited documentation
  • Supporting feasibility reports and commercial risk assessments
  • Working closely with clients, designers, and consultants to explore value engineering options
  • Helping with early procurement planning and then supporting the transition to the project Quantity Surveyor

You’ll be mentored by an experienced manager and be involved in a wide range of projects, typically ranging from $10M to $50M—covering both large structural elements and complex MEP packages. 

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

  • 2–4+ years of Quantity Surveying or Estimating experience 
  • Construction or engineering qualifications
  • NZ construction industry experience (preferred)
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A genuine interest in design-build methodology
