As this high performing and friendly Project Management team expands, you will take on the office and project administration work for the business, its a great opportunity to build valuable experience and be mentored towards a Project Management career.
This business provides professional Project Management services on large building and construction projects. They partner private companies and organisations to develop project scopes and business cases for new capital work, then procure designers and consultants to develop detailed designs and act as as the client’s representative during construction.
The company is led by experienced Directors with excellent local reputations and and many successful projects and happy clients. They enjoy working in an informal and collaborative environment, with the flexibility to adapt to exceed clients expectations yet provide project surety through robust systems.
The role
You will be supporting the team of Project Managers with administration and project coordination, this entry level role will include;
– Organising and attending project and client meetings
– Preparing meeting minutes & project reports
– Managing (EoIs) expressions of interest and coordinating queries and responses.
– Drafting up fee proposals, contracts and agreements
– Attending site meeting and preparing project reports
– Support the general running of the office
Whilst this role is initially administrative in nature, you will get incredible industry exposure. The long term plan is for you to be learning and developing your understanding of construction and project management and be developed towards a career in Project Management
This role isn’t urgent and we are looking for the right fit into this small and successful team, required experience:
- Recent Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction
- We are open to undergraduates still studying but able to work full time
- Work experience within an office / professional setting preferred
- Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
- Professional in approach
- Highly organised, diligent, and excellent attention to detail
- Social team player who brings enthusiasm towards their career
