Industrial Electrician

Working out of the Mangere workshop you will be working with a friendly team who Fit/Assemble portable crushers, rock mills, and mobile labs specifically for the Mining Industry. Daily tasks range from wiring, panel building, and testing/calibrating motors/drives. Whilst predominately workshop based, you will eventually have the opportunity to travel to client sites around the world for final installation and commissioning.
This Monday to Friday role comes with “lifestyle friendly” 7am starts, 2:30pm finishes – ideal for someone looking to get away from irregular start/finish times.

We’re looking for an Electrician with an Industrial or Commercial background with the highest standards for quality and efficiency. This is an opportunity to work directly for the manufacturer of some interesting equipment.

  • EWRB Licenced: Electrician or Electrical Engineer
  • Experience with machine-building/commissioning ideal
  • Organised and methodical
  • Familiar with PLCs, VSDs and HMIs
  • Able to read/interpret technical drawings
  • Maintain a tidy and safe workspace
  • Able to travel as required
