Consultancy Project Manager Role – Infrastructure/Waterworks

The Company
A national multidisciplinary consultancy with capabilities across construction and infrastructure sectors. Typically clients exist across a variety of public and private sectors meaning that project size and scope varies from small to large, anywhere up to 100m and above, with projects across Transport, Land Development and Three Waters as well as Residential, Commercial, Healthcare and Industrial works.
The Role
A position is available in their Wellington office to replace an outgoing member of the team. You will be working on a large waste treatment and landfill project which is already in the construction delivery phase, so you’ll need to hit the ground running and continue the successful running of the programme through to completion including commissioning.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Working closely with clients, engineers, consultants and contractors to ensure effective communication across the project.
- Managing programmes, budgets, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensuring the project meets high-quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Effectively manage the commissioning stage of the project
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-5 years of project management experience in infrastructure, and 3 waters work in New Zealand.
- A relevant qualification in project/construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Great communication and relationship-building skills—you know how to bring people together to get things done.
- Experience working in a consultancy or client-side environment essential.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for delivering quality projects.
