The Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll lead pre-construction planning and project establishment, then work alongside the delivery team to support a portfolio of design-build projects in the $10m–$40m range.

You’ll operate with real autonomy, backed by robust systems, experienced site teams, and long-standing subcontractor relationships — giving you the resources on hand to support your success.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Lead pre-construction planning and project establishment across multiple projects
  • Develop project programmes and manage project risk
  • Integrate internal resources effectively into project delivery
  • Develop strong client relationships and guide key decisions
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to your delivery team
  • Support the application of best-practice quality systems
  • Contribute to team development and regional growth

What We’re Looking For

  • Project management experience on commercial-grade construction projects in NZ
  • Strong programming capability (MS Project)
  • Sound knowledge of concrete & steel structures 
  • Working knowledge of NZ standard contracts
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative and engaged leadership style
  • Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications
