For decades this Blenheim based Engineering company have designed, manufactured and delivered their innovative range of freeze dryers that have endless industry applications. They have developed a system that not only makes the complex freeze drying process simple to use but is an exceptionally effective method for drawing moisture from food, chemical and pharmaceutical products without damage. The future for the technology is extremely bright and the team are welcoming new members to keep the innovation moving forward.

DELIVERING PROJECTS AROUND THE WORLD
This an opportunity for a degree qualified Engineer to fast track their career and be apart of a Kiwi success story. You will be supporting the existing Projects Team through each step of the end-to-end engineering process from design/concept through to manufacture and delivery. On top of ongoing Freeze Dryer projects you will be engaged in a variety of local work relating to viticulture, FMCG, industrial sectors covering everything from designing/modifying machinery, piping, heat exchanges, structural supports and platforms.
This role has a focus on thermodynamic concepts/principles, refrigeration/heat transfer systems, mechanics and control systems. If you are fascinated by all things engineering – this is the role for you!

ARE YOU UP TO THE CHALLENGE?
This unique role has a range of responsibilities including:

  • Calculating, selecting, checking, and documenting of materials required
  • Provide technical support R&D projects
  • Prepare/drafting of P&IDs
  • Project tracking – resource monitoring
  • Quality control – checking all equipment/products are within specification
  • Liaising with suppliers and clients
