About the Role:
We are seeking an R&D / NPD / Food Technologist to join dynamic teams in either Wellington or Hawkes Bay. These roles offer the opportunity to work on innovative food product development, quality assurance, and process improvement. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards in food safety, compliance, and innovation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve food products and formulations, particularly high-risk foods.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct product trials and sensory evaluations.
  • Work closely with production teams to optimise processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

About You: 
You will be a great team player, with a good attitude and the ability to communicate with customers and across all levels of the business.

In addition, the successful applicant will have the following.

  • A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience product development within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong knowledge of food regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to relocate to Wellington or Hawkes Bay.
  • Full right to work in NZ.
