The Company: Our client is a well-established nutritional dairy manufacturer. They are internationally backed and run from their state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Pokeno, Auckland.

This company is in an exciting phase, having recently taken on new clients and starting to develop a range of new product lines. They need to expand their team to keep up with the growth in the business, including looking to find experienced Production Operators to support their canning team. They have an excellent reputation for looking after their employees and there is fantastic potential for career development within this company.

The Role: 
This position works on a highly automated production line within a nutritional dairy manufacturing plant. 

  • Monday to Thursday, 6am-6pm shift (48-hour week)
  • Will move to alternating day and night shifts in the coming months 
  • $28 – $32ph based on experience 

Ultimately, you will be responsible for meeting production targets, clearing and cleaning lines prior to production, adhering to all H&S and compliance requirements, filling out relevant traceability documentation, assisting with routine and planned maintenance activities, taking product samples, operating a forklift to transfer raw materials and more.

You, the Candidate: 
You must have at least 2 years’ experience in a Production or Process Operator role, working on a high-speed manufacturing line within food, dairy, or FMCG environments. To be considered for the role, you must have experience in conducting preoperational checks, troubleshooting line breakdowns  through HMI and monitoring product quality. Milk powder processing and dispensary experience would also be highly regarded. It is absolutely essential to have excellent communication skills.
