Project Manager (Industrial)
Site based role for a Project Manager to oversee and manage a complex project in Christchurch.
This specialist business has a global reputation for the first class delivery of innovative and technically challenging construction and engineering projects.
This is a site based role on a fixed term contract for around 24 months where you will:
– oversee construction & engineering work and ensure work is delivered on schedule and budget, with a critical focus on quality.
– be active in Project Meetings, work collaboratively with contractors, consultants and engineers and manage RFIs, change orders and claims
– provide regular project reports, manage risk, and problem solve any design or construction issues.
To be considered we are seeking the following:
– Several years Project Management or Project Engineering experience
– Experience on complex Industrial projects (Oil, Gas, Power Generation, Industrial Processing, Aerospace, Mining)
– Excellent knowledge of New Zealand construction, contracts, and Health & Safety
– Technically minded and able to understand complex engineering/construction plans
– Degree or Diploma qualifications in Engineering or Construction
– Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
– Team Player
