As the lead PM this is an opportunity to develop yourself and progress towards joining the senior leadership team and be a key part of a regional team, working alongside clients, consultants and construction teams to deliver projects from design and planning through to delivery and completion.

The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple commercial and industrial projects across the region. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading planning, programming and project delivery
  • Coordinating consultants, clients, subcontractors and site teams
  • Managing project budgets, commercial performance and reporting
  • Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
  • Leading project teams and mentoring emerging staff
  • Promoting a positive culture focused on safety, quality and collaboration
  • Support the regional manager with business strategy & operational improvements

About You
We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, building relationships and delivering projects the right way. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Extensive experience managing commercial or industrial construction projects in New Zealand
  • Excellent planning, programming and reporting capability
  • A sound understanding of NZ construction contracts and commercial management
  • The ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills
  • Trade or tertiary construction qualifications
