QA Officer
Rare and exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a progressive, multinational-backed dairy organisation in Auckland.
- Initial 5-6 month fixed-term opportunity.

The Company:
Our client is am NZ company and a major player in the dairy and nutrition market. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing plants are located in Mangere and Pokeno. Due to great success and high demand, they have 5 new vacancies through to the end of 2025.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Quality Lead, the QA Officer will support the day-to-day management of the company’s quality systems and investigate non-conformances to comply to associated industry regulations. Your overall scope of responsibilities will also include interacting with the production team, ensuring compliance with RMP, HACCP, OMAR requirements, and assisting with internal audits.
You, the Candidate:
You will be organised, have a good attitude, with great communication skills in order to liaise with the quality and other departments. You’ll come with experience in or exposure to the food or dairy industry, a keen eye for detail, and have good organisational and computer skills.
In addition, applicants should have most of the following attributes, qualifications and experience:
- Tertiary qualification with a major in chemistry, microbiology or food science/technology preferred.
- 2 years infant formula experience.
- 2+ years QA experience.
- Experience with or exposure to Quality Systems including HACCP.
- Highly effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Sound computer skills.
- Appreciation of timelines and how to meet your targets.
- Must be happy with an initial fixed-term contract.
- Must currently have the right to work in NZ.
