About the role:
Currently this company is seeking a permanent Quality Systems and Compliance Coordinator working full time Mon-Fri daytime hours.  As the incumbent, you will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and play a key role in maintaining the company’s documentation control system and by ensuring that the company’s quality and regulatory expectations are met. You will also need to competently analyse product and manufacturing data and present this information for easy review by your peers. 
 
PLEASE NOTE: This role is based in South Otago and will be based onsite.  You will need to relocate to this region if successful.
 
Skills/ Experience:
To be considered, you will have experience in maintaining quality and/or regulatory standards within a dairy or food environment. You will have strong communication skills and will need to work closely with the manufacturing and operational support teams, including those in Australia.  You will be able to anticipate problems and use your technical knowledge to solve these and to make improvements with regards to quality and food safety. 
 
Ideally you will have the following attributes and experience:

  • Minimum 2 years Quality Assurance experience in the dairy, food, pharma or other FMCG industries
  • Reasonable background or understanding of Food Microbiology and Quality Assurance
  • Tertiary qualification with a major  in Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science (or related)
  • Previous auditing experience (internal and external)
  • Experience in documentation control
  • Good understanding GMP
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
  • Must have full NZ working rights.
