The Company
Here’s a chance to join one of New Zealand’s long-standing commercial builders, a company known for delivering great projects whilst looking after the people who make them happen.

They’ve got solid forward work in Tauranga, including a large $50m commercial build and a healthcare development, so things are in good shape. The team’s a mix of experience and motivated up and comers, with a genuine focus on teamwork, quality, and doing the right thing by their clients and each other.

The Role
They’re looking for two additions to the commercial team – an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor who’s capable and eager to learn, and a Senior QS who can lead the commercial delivery of the $50m project while helping guide the team around them.

Both roles are hands-on, involved across the full project life cycle. The Senior position will work closely with the leadership team and play a key part in mentoring others. The Intermediate role will be well supported and given room to grow, getting exposure to a broad range of project work.

What we’re Looking For

  • Strong background (preferably Tier 1) as a QS on commercial builds, ideally mid to large-scale
  • NZ Construction Experience is essential
  • Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
  • Confident managing costs, contracts, and subcontractors with accuracy and fairness
  • Good communicator – comfortable with everyone from site teams to consultants and clients
  • Down-to-earth, reliable, and proactive attitude
