Senior Account Manager
Our multi-divisional install, service and product delivery client deliver fully integrated solutions: from turnkey electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and distribution of security products and building maintenance. With an internal promotion we are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join the team in Auckland.
This critical role is responsible for engaging, developing & managing key account clients across New Zealand in the security access control, CCTV, and intrusion systems. You will play a crucial role proactively engaging with key clients, focusing on staying ahead rather than being reactive; managing communication effectively with customers and key stakeholders; developing and executing comprehensive account plans; managing customer relationships and growing and developing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage, develop and manage key account clients
- Develop and execute client account plans
- Strategically identify client roadmaps for future security needs
- Manage pricing, tenders, renewals, and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure seamless solutions and service delivery
- Maintain accurate CRM records and report regularly on account performance
What We’re Looking For
- An experienced Senior Account Manager with proven experience working in the security industry (specific experience with ICT access control, Axis cameras, March NVR and Gallagher Access Control systems would be advantageous)
- Current security clearance
- Experience managing large commercial corporate accounts
- Proven experience demonstrating engagement with clients, account planning, relationship management, and account growth
- Tendering and negotiating experience
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to thrive within a structured sales approach that includes regular meetings about activity and opportunities.
As a key account manager role occasional travel (nationwide) will be required.
