YOUR NEW ROLE
Based in the Mangere workshop, you’ll join a friendly team that fits and assembles portable crushers, rock mills, and mobile labs specifically for the mining industry. You will lead projects from start to finish by wiring, panel building, and testing/calibrating motors and drives based on working drawings. While the role is predominantly workshop-based, you’ll also have the opportunity to travel internationally for final installation and commissioning.

This Monday-to-Friday position offers “lifestyle-friendly” hours — early 6am starts and 2:30pm finishes — ideal for those looking for a consistent routine and more personal time in the afternoons.

UP TO THE CHALLENGE?
We’re looking for a qualified Electrician with an industrial background who takes pride in quality workmanship and efficiency. This is a great opportunity to work directly for the manufacturer of some truly innovative machinery.

You’ll need:

  • EWRB licence (Electrician or Electrical Engineer)
  • Experience in machine building and commissioning (ideal)
  • Organised, methodical approach
  • Familiarity with PLCs, VSDs, and HMIs
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Commitment to maintaining a tidy and safe workspace
  • Willingness to travel as required
