Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure

The Company
A multidisciplinary consultancy with capabilities across all of construction, infrastructure and transportation. They have overseen a lot of growth in recent times and as a result are looking to grow both their Auckland team, as well as other locations in NZ. Clients exist across a variety of public and private sectors meaning that project size and scope varies from anything between $2-50M+, currently with several projects across refurbishments and greenfield developments they have grown within both the vertical and horizontal construction space.

We’re looking for x2 Senior Project Managers, both with all-round infrastructure experience. Ideally someone with a strong background in civil works and another with logistics or new build industrial backgrounds.

The Role 
This role will see you take complete responsibility for external and internal clients, including programme management, commercial negotiations and contract management, design management and procurement. As an expert in your field and with in-depth knowledge of the NZ infrastructure construction market, you will be at the top of your game in helping the organisation maintain and grow the business. As a pivotal member of the leadership team, you will be a problem solver and work closely with the board of directors.

This role requires: 
Extensive experience as a Project Manager for a consultancy operating in the construction industry
Experienced working with, or for contractors
Highly technical background – degree qualified preferred
Analytical – able to understand specifications, drawings and formulate work programmes
The ability to drive and achieve deadlines 
Capable of communicating with anyone, from the board to an on-site contractor
