Senior Project Manager – Wellington

The opportunity
Here’s an opportunity to join a well-established consultancy with a reputation for delivering projects that last. The team is close-knit, collaborative, and experienced — and they’re looking for someone who can add strength, insight, and leadership to a key Wellington project.

As Senior Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of programme, budget, and delivery outcomes ensuring your team meets every project milestone. You’ll be the link between clients, consultants, and contractors — ensuring communication is clear, challenges are dealt with quickly, and the project moves forward without a hitch.

About you
This role will suit someone who thrives in the detail but can also step back and see the bigger picture. You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience leading projects in the building or construction industry
  • A track record in managing budgets, schedules, and resources successfully
  • Excellent stakeholder skills — you know how to build trust and keep people on side
  • Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Project or similar to keep everything on track
  • A calm, solutions-driven approach when problems inevitably arise
