Senior Project Manager – Wellington

Are you a Senior Project Manager who enjoys leading teams, building strong relationships and delivering well-planned projects? If you value good preparation, clear communication and doing things properly, this could be a great opportunity.

This role is with a long-established, employee-owned Tier 2 design & build contractor in Wellington. They’ve been operating successfully for decades and have a strong reputation for delivering commercial, residential, community and education projects. Their approach is steady, professional and relationship-driven, with a real focus on early contractor involvement and setting projects up well from the outset.

The role:

  • Leading commercial projects from pre-construction through to completion
  • Managing programme, budget, quality, safety and subcontractors on site
  • Working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams
  • Providing clear leadership to site teams and contributing practical buildability input

What we’re looking for:

Someone already operating at a senior level, with solid commercial construction experience. Design & build or ECI exposure would be ideal, along with a calm, people-focused approach and good judgement. You’ll be comfortable managing stakeholders and keeping projects moving.

NB; You must have previous New Zealand based experience to be considered.
