Senior Quantity Surveyor
This niche developer & builder has a successful track record of delivering large scale quality projects and fostering long term partnerships with their stakeholders and sub contractors.
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead the commercial management of around $40m of new high end apartments, with more forward work load on the horizon
With overall project responsibility for cost budgeting, management and reporting you will be involved from estimating and procurement of contractors through to cost control and contract administration and reporting. Its envisaged you will have the support of a Quantity Surveyor to help with the day to day contract administration. You will then also support the Director with estimating and cost planning for new work, which may include feasibilities for new developments.
Projects are based regionally so there will be a requirement to travel out of Auckland a few days each month.
My client is seeking the following:
- Several years Estimating & Quantity Surveying experience
- New Zealand construction experience essential
- Good knowledge of NZ contracts and building methods
- Experience working on commercial or apartment projects over $30m
- Self motivated and team focused
- Experience with COST X and procore preferred
- Related Quantity Surveying qualifications
